The quote "There are't any grownups; we'll have to look after ourselves" means that there are no grownups so they have to take responsibility for each other and protect themselves and also survive. I agree with this quote because it teaches you responsibility, how to take care of your friends and family, and how to be a man. This is a very good thing because most boys get babied a lot and doesn't really experience that.

  The quote "A leader takes people where they want to go. A leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go, but ought to be." means many different things to many different people. But I think the first part means that someone takes you to a place that you want to succeed in. The second part means that you may not want to go that direction in life but its whats best for you. And lastly it means that you should want to go in the direction you want to succeed in.

Hey Ms. Hunter, my name is Immanuel Jones. I have recently attended Alice Deal Middle School. What I like about school is the learning, socializing, fun, challenging, and a lot boring sometimes. I haven't really figured out what my strengths are yet but I have a lot of potential. My weaknesses are understanding the text and staying focused most of the time. But the sports I play are basketball and football (but i don't play football for no team i just play for fun). 

The reading skills I need help with are understanding what the text is about sometimes and reading faster and at a good pace. The writing skills I need help with are not having run on sentences and working on my penmanship. My expectations for this class is too focus and get the best education i possibly can. I don't have any specific learning ways, I can learn anyway possibly. Just I know I am a hardworking person.
